The Temporary Wife A Forever Love Story Book 1 eBook Jeannie Moon
Megan Rossi's best friend named her as legal guardian to her five year old daughter, Molly. Molly's wealthy grandparents are irate and have hired an attorney to get custody of the child. The child's billionaire uncle, Jason Campbell, knows that his parents are not fit to raise a child and proposes that he and Megan have a temporary marriage and formally adopt Molly to keep her out of their clutches. Megan and Jason were high school sweethearts until he broke her heart and she is afraid to fully trust him. However, she will do whatever it takes to keep the child safe. This was a good story, but I had trouble warming up to Jason. His hot/cold attitude and self-interest made me want to smack him with a wooden spoon and tell him to grow up. The story also could use a little extra proofreading. Jason has an Aunt Nancy who morphs into Aunt Mary and then becomes Aunt Nancy again in the space of just a few pages. (I couldn't understand why she was even mentioned. She never shows up again, even though I kept expecting her to.) There are also a few missing words or added words, but this often happens in e-books and really didn't bother me a lot. All in all, I did like the book.Sexual situations may offend some readers

The Temporary Wife A Forever Love Story Book 1 eBook Jeannie Moon Reviews
A Forever Love story, Jason Campbell was Meg's childhood love, truth be known, she still loved him, just didn't like him much, he had hurt her, humiliated her, and she lost all trust and respect for him. Now her best friend and husband were killed and they left their daughter to be cared for by Meg! Of course greedy grandparents are fighting her, Jason comes up with a pla, just needs to convince Meg😀❤️! To marry Meg, give Molly a home, then they can divorce in a year! What, seriously! You are going to love this story, amazing, inspiring story,!!!!
This was such a moving and wonderful romance story I really enjoyed it. The writing and storytelling were exceptional and I enjoyed this story from the very first page. I enjoyed how the story and romance were written and developed between the two main characters and the secondary characters were interesting and also exceptionally well-written.
Definitely a five star rating for this book and author. I am definitely looking forward to reading more from this author and this series.
It takes a strong person to get over a betrayal. Luckily, for the people in her life, Meg is that person. Meg puts others first and in return she ends up hurt at times. Meg has to see if she can get over a past hurt and keep her heart in check while doing what is best for Molly. Meg ends up being the person we all wish we had as a friend, for her kindness and thoughtfulness. I wish that Jason would stop thinking so much and tell Meg how he feels. She needs to know!!! And Harper came around some for me but I still like Harpy as a nickname.
This is the first book by Jeannie Moon that I have read. But it won't be the last. I enjoyed the story line of two star crossed lovers who were torn apart by his family. She was the workers daughter and he the rich elite. He hid her from his friends and family when they were dating. Now sixteen years later he sees that she needs his help to keep his sisteR's child from his parents. And his solution is a marriage of convenience. But how convenient will it be if they both still feel the sparks from the past? And will his parents just give up on Molly? And what about the people who were involved with the couple? Will they let the marriage work or will they keep interfering?
To be honest, the only reason this book got two stars is because I love this trope/cliche. It's a plot line favorite.
While the potential for the story was there, the plot was a roller coaster ride - and not a fun one. The possessive nature of Jason and his back & forth is unappealing, and Meg's constant mood swings, crying bits, and possessiveness was also as unappealing. Their tumultuous relationship really bogged this book down and didn't feel right or satisfying in any way.
The summary had me hooked and showed what could have been a promising story but the actual journey was not enjoyable.
Megan Rossi was a teacher. When her best friend, Grace, dies, she leaves custody of her daughter, Molly, to Megan. Jason Campbell was a billionaire software developer and Grace's brother. He understands why Grace wanted Megan to take Molly. His parents, Molly's grandparents, are wealthy, arrogant, snobs that he wants nothing to do with, but they're trying to get custody of Molly. Knowing Megan doesn't have the financial means to fight them, Jason proposes to Megan.
A temporary arrangement, he tells her. They'll stay married for a year then go their separate ways. Jason will give Megan a huge settlement in the divorce, thereby eliminating his parents future chances to get Molly. However, he doesn't tell Megan he has feelings for her and is hoping to turn their arrangement into something more permanent.
Very well written and entertaining. Loved the characters, so down to earth, the type of people you'd like to know.
Childhood lovers torn apart because he comes from money and she doesn't. This could have been the same sold story but it wasn't! Meg and Jason are pulled back together when they combine forces to take care of Molly when Jason's sister, Grace, and her husband die unexpectedly. Enter Jason's "deranged" parents and the real fun begins. A lot of twists and turns later and love overcomes. Great chemistry between the 2 leads and you may want to smack both of them in the head at times but they each need to come full circle and forgive the sins of the past! Great read! So good, I just bought the next book of the series.
